Custom Artwork Commission Terms
Thank you so much for your interest in custom watercolor artwork with Pickles & Paints! The following terms help ensure a smooth process for both of us.
Project & Payment
Each piece is created specifically for you based on the details provided in your inquiry form and follow-up communication. Work will begin once payment (or deposit, if applicable) is received. Due to the custom nature of watercolor artwork, all sales are final once work has begun.
Proof & Revisions
You will receive a digital proof of the artwork before it is finalized. Revisions made digitally are included to ensure everything looks just right. Significant changes or additional painted revisions may require an additional fee.
Copyright & Usage
The artist retains copyright ownership of all artwork. Clients receive a personal-use license to use the artwork for its intended purpose (such as wedding stationery, personal display, or gifts). Artwork may not be reproduced for resale, merchandise, or commercial use without written permission.
Printing
If digital files are provided, clients may share the artwork with their chosen printer for the purpose of producing their stationery or prints. The artist is not responsible for color or quality differences from third-party printers.
Portfolio Use
The artist reserves the right to photograph and share completed artwork in portfolios, social media, and promotional materials.
By submitting payment or approving the project, you acknowledge and agree to the terms above.
